Oaklynn Eve Marie Zarilla

Jun 10, 2026 — Jun 25, 2026

It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet baby Oaklynn Eve Marie Zarilla, who graced our lives with her precious presence from June 10, 2026, until the Lord gently called her home on June 25, 2026. Though her time with us was far too brief, she filled every moment with immeasurable love and forever changed the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Oaklynn is survived by her devoted parents, Rebecca Zarilla and Hunter Long; her loving grandparents, Margaret and David Wright; and her aunts and uncles, Gabrielle Eve Zarilla ("Aunt GiGi"), Bayleigh Eve Mae Hartley, Harley Hartley, Eli Tennant, Stephanie Armienta, and her daughter Marianna Armienta (Punkin). She is also lovingly remembered by extended family members and dear friends, including Caitlyn Marie Cottrill, a cherished family friend and one of Oaklynn's namesakes, whose love and friendship meant so much to her family. As well as her faithful dog, Annie ("Moo Girl"), who never left her side.

Awaiting Oaklynn's arrival in Heaven were her grandfather, Joseph Zarilla, Jr., great-grandmother, Brenda Wright, and her mother's beloved friend, Mya Lynn Brown, whose memory also lives on through Oaklynn's beautiful name. Though they never met on this earth, their love is forever woven into her story.

A funeral service celebrating Oaklynn's precious life will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 11:00 a.m. to share their love, support, and remembrance. The service will be officiated by Gabrielle Zarilla, her beloved Aunt GiGi. Following the service, Oaklynn will be laid to rest beside her grandfather, Joe, at Olive Cemetery in Pentress, West Virginia.

Though our arms could hold Oaklynn for only a little while, our hearts will hold her forever. Her life, however brief, was a priceless gift, and the love she inspired will continue to shine through all who knew her. We invite family and friends to celebrate her beautiful life and the lasting imprint she has left on every heart she touched.

You were carried for only a moment, but you will be loved for a lifetime.
