Norma Jean Kelly

Norma Jean Kelly, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday March 2, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born February 7, 1932 in Columbus, OH a daughter of the late Ernest and Bricie Louella Tucker Koon. Norma owned and operated Emsweller Inc., with her late husband William B. Kelly. She also worked as a supervisor in the Food Service Department at University Hospital. She was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, feeding birds, sewing and quilting. She is survived by five daughters Mary Kelly of Morgantown, who resided with her mother her entire life, and was Norma's constant caregiver during her final years; Kitty Humphreys and husband Max of Westover, Roxane Miller and husband Cory of State College, PA, Debbie Luckey and husband Chris of Mt. Morris, PA, Donna Quairiere and husband Keith of Morgantown; nine grandchildren Stacy Humphreys of Elizabethtown, KY, Lukas Miller, Gretchen Miller, Kelly Miller all of State College, PA, Zach Luckey, Emily Luckey, Will Luckey all of Mt. Morris, PA, Chelsey Holley of Morgantown, , and Bobby Quairiere of Uniontown, PA; and two great grandchildren Logan Quairiere and Jude Quairiere both of Uniontown, PA. Norma is also survived by three brothers Ernest Edward Koon of Westover, Clyde Koon of Morgantown, James Koon of Texas; and two sisters Bessie Tichenor of Morgantown and Anna May of Michigan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William B. Kelly in 1994 and five brothers Lawrence Koon, Lester Koon, Howard Koon, Joseph Koon, and Jackie Lee Koon. To honor Norma's wishes cremation services were arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday March 16, 2013 at 12pm at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel of Tranquility Mausoleum with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Flowers ordered for the services may be delivered to Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
