Norma Jean Buseman

Norma Jean Buseman, 83, of Morgantown passed away on Saturday October 1, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 27, 1939, in Preston County, the daughter of the late Henry and Levada Owens.

She is survived by her fiancé of many years, Ordane Ridenour; children, David Buseman and wife Cori; daughter Karen Wilson and daughter Kristy DeBerry and husband Chris; grandchildren, Melissa Wilson, Chelsea and Jill Buseman and Lane DeBerry; great grandchildren, Skyanna, Brandi and Robert Wilson. She is also survived by Ordane’s daughter, Deborah Cox and husband Jim; Norma’s brothers, Jim, Tom and Randy Owens as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil David Buseman in 1989 as well as several siblings, Glenn, Leo, Calvin, Fred and Daniel Owens, Naomi Pifer, Blondell Owens, Mary Bolyard and Shirley Harris.

Norma was a homemaker and baby sat for many children over the years, all whom she loved and cared for as her own.

The family would like to thank all of Norma’s aides, nurses and staff with Amedisys and a special thanks to Carla, Sabrina and Diana for being there when needed.

The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, from 5 PM until 7 PM and again on Thursday from noon until time of services at 1 PM with Pastor Delisa Riley officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Masontown Cemetery.
