Nellie Jo Comstock

Nellie Jo Comstock, 72, of Kingwood, WV, passed away at her home on Monday, October 19, 2026. She was born on July 15, 1954, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Doug and Hilda Mae Pritt.

Jo dedicated 35 years of service to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a registered sterile processing technician. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, crafting junk journals, and watching YouTube videos, particularly her favorite, Hooked on Pickin'.

She is survived by her son, Austin Comstock, and his wife, Missy; her daughter, Heather Spooner, and her husband, Andy; grandchildren Skyler Comstock, Andrea Spooner and her fiancé, Shawn Buzzo, Izzabella Spooner, and Alyssa Comstock; her great-grandson, Wesley Buzzo; her sister, Cindy Huffman; her niece, Meloney Pritt; and many other extended family members. She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Parker, who loved nothing more than sitting in the chair with Jo.

In accordance with Jo's wishes, services will be private, and cremation will take place.
