Nathan Edgar Starr

Nathan Edgar Starr, 54, of Anderson, IN, passed away on Friday July 15, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born October 15, 1961 in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Philip Edgar Starr and Bonnie Jo Cummings Starr Albritton.

Nathan was employed as an over the road truck driver and supervisor for OJ White. He loved his family and was known as a family man.

He is survived by his sister Sherry Lea Haller of Anderson, IN; adopted daughter Alleigha Shaffer; half-brother Paul Starr of WV; nephews Sam Curry of Kents Store, VA, Joey Curry of Clarksburg, WV; and a niece Amy Herrell of Troup, TX.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mae Starr on July 14, 2016.

Honoring his wishes cremation services are under the direction of Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday July 18, 2016 from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 1pm with Pastor Barbara Hamrick officiating.
