Nancy Susan Johnson

Nancy Susan Johnson, 57, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Monday May, 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 18, 1959 in Morgantown daughter of Joseph Frank Bailey of Morgantown and the late Patricia Wilhelm Bailey.

Nancy most recently worked as a cook at the Sundale Nursing Home until her health would no longer permit. Nancy enjoyed reading, crafting, crocheting and sewing.

She was a fantastic cook and loved camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a big fan of racing and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon.
In addition to her father, Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson, two daughters, Marie (Jamie) Murray, Chrissy (Russell) Ewald; two sons Kevin Johnson (Erica Lawson) and Ben Johnson all of Morgantown. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Owen and Eli Murray, Javin, Alyssa and Isaiah Johnson and Stephanie and Russell Ewald, III; two brothers Joe (Patty) Bailey and Ed Bailey all of Morgantown and one sister Judy (Neill) Lamonds of Calif.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Truman and Luella Johnson.
Cremation services were arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
