Nancy Lee Harris Helmick

Nancy Lee Harris Helmick, 66 of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2013 at the Mapleshire Nursing Home. Nancy was born in Morgantown on May 20, 1946. She was a homemaker for her five children and husband. She enjoyed dancing, country music, bingo, word search and was an avid collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nancy was a friend to all she met. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Ronald Bonzo' Helmick. They were married in Morgantown on August 29, 1998. In addition to her husband, Nancy is lovingly remembered by her children, Linda McMillen and spouse Kevin, Gerald Harris, Jr., and wife Barbara, David Harris, Eugene Harris and fiancée Kandi Reach, Pamela Davis and spouse Timothy all of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Joseph McMillen, Cynthia McMillen, Kyle Harris and Cody Harris; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer Barnett, David Dalton, Jr., and April Wolfe; ten step-great grandchildren and her sisters, Patricia Jane' Clark, Janet Phillips and Sandra Kay' Wise. Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald David Harris; her mother, Nellie Irene Warnick; stepfather, David E. Warnick, Sr.; brother-in-law, Douglas Mike' Wise; grandson Shawn Harris and step great granddaughter, Kalyssa Dawn Barnett. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 5pm until 9pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
