Mya Lynn Brown, 13 of Morgantown, WV passed on November 6th, 2016. Mya was born April 3, 2003. Her parents, David and Edna Brown, could not have been more proud.
Mya lived a happy life filled with love for her family and friends. She had no natural brothers or sisters but loved her friends so much they were like family to her. She was a student at Westwood Middle School where she was a proud member of the marching band as a majorette. She also played clarinet.
Mya loved her mother and father beyond words and her love for her Grandma Dorothy Cosner was unmatched. In Mya’s short life she touched the lives of so many people and changed many of them for the better. Mya was loved by so many but no one loved her more than her Mother and Father.
Mya leaves behind her father David Brown and mother Edna Brown, grandmother Dorothy Cosner and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Mya was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Hunton T. Brown and J. Annabelle Brown and her maternal grandfather, Rex Cosner and her pappy, Ernie Elli.
Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday November 11, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Mya will be laid to rest at the Bethel Cemetery.
