Monica Kay Mcintire

Monica Kay George' (McCord) McIntire, 48, of Pursglove, passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born December 31, 1964 in Morgantown a daughter of Arlene Sue Piper Nuce and husband Kevin D. Nuce of Pursglove and the late Elbert A. McCord, Sr. Monica loved her dog Gage. She also loved to play BINGO with her family, and would yell across the room at her aunt Carolyn. Her favorite thing to do was to make time for TV night with her niece Alexis. They both loved watching SpongeBob SquarePants. Monica was a loving, caring and compassionate woman who will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by her daughter Sadie Kay McIntire of Morgantown; two sisters Glenda McCord of Cassville, Serita Lipscomb of Pursglove; two brothers J.R. McCord of Cassville, and Brad Nuce of Erie, PA; four nieces and two nephews; and a special friend Alan Perkins. Monica was preceded in death by her father Elbert A. McCord, Sr. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday April 16, 2013 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm and again on Wednesday from noon until the time of funeral services at 1pm with Rev. Loretta Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
