Minnie Loretta McBee, 77 of Granville passed away Thursday November 4, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born February 15, 1933 in Morgantown, WV daughter to the late William and Lydia Woods. Her interests included family, gardening, sewing, and puzzles. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family and friends. Minnie is survived by her daughter Kathy Dixon, two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Weir and Clayton Zopfi and one great grandchild Jacob Weir and her long time companion Howard Haseleu. Also surviving are sisters Mary Wiggley and Martha Brown and brother Bill Woods all of Massillon, OH and her faithful canine companion Myrtle Mae. In addition to her parents Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Chester McBee, her parents and five brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday Nov. 6 from 9am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
