Mildred 'Mickey' Poling

Mildred Mickey' Poling, 89, of Granville passed away Saturday January 31, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born July 31, 1925 in Mount Savage, MD and raised in Cassville by her parents, the late Jesse and Maude Ricewick Leighty. Mickey worked as a housekeeper at WVU Towers and retired in 1985. She was a member of the Zoar House of Prayer. She enjoyed going to family reunions, quilting, embroidery, and singing at church and family reunions. She is survived by two sons Dickie Leighty and wife Sue of Phoenix, AZ, Gary Kasecamp and wife Darlene of Maryland; three daughters Patty Brown and husband Dave of Masontown, WV, Dianna Yoney and husband Russell of Mount Morris, PA, Donna Powley and husband Keith of Morgantown; a sister Gail Wright of Tennessee; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Poling; son Jerry Poling; brothers Billy, Jake, and Dickie Leighty; sisters Marion Stevens, Betty Goss, Wilma Jean Groves, Shirley Panrell, Dorothy Leighty; and a grandson. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday February 3, 2015 from2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday and 12pm noon with Pastor Barbara Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
