Michael Wayne Smith

Michael Wayne Smith 67, of Cool Ridge, WV., formally of Wyoming County, WV, passed away on January 23, 2025 . Mike was born on March 8, 1957, in Welch, WV, a son to the late Jim and Sarah Smith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Smith.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Misty) Smith of Welch, WV; three brothers, Jimmy (Teresa) Smith of Glen Fork, WV, Joseph Smith of Cool Ridge, WV, and Kenneth (Kim) Smith of Bedford, VA; one sister Diana (Jackie) Hart of Coal City; two grandchildren, Savanna and Tyler Smith and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mike’s family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Cremation was arranged by the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home of Morgantown.
