Michael Joseph Mcgee

November 20, 1969 — January 12, 2015

Michael Joseph McGee, 45, of Morgantown passed away Monday January 12, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness with diabetes. He was born November 20, 1969 in Morgantown a son of John Huffman of Ellenboro, NC and Doris McGee of Morgantown. Michael enjoyed working on cars, fishing, computers, and playing video games. He loved animals especially his pets. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He graduated from Morgantown High School with the class of 91. Michael worked at Napa as a parts delivery driver until his illness. In addition to his parents he is survived by a son Michael J. McGee II of Morgantown; grandchild Jordan; half-brother Brian Huffman of Lebanon, PA; half-sister Debra Huffman of Indianapolis, IN; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ralph and Martha McGee. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday January 16, 2015 from 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 9am until the time of funeral services at 10am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Entombment will follow at Beverly Hills Garden of Tranquility Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to American Diabetes Association 100 West Station Square Dr. Suite 1900 Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
