Michael R. 'Pickle' Dunn, 63 of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born February 14, 1962, in Morgantown, a son of Robert A. Dunn and the late Lois Jean Dunn.
He is survived by wife of 38 years Cynthia Dunn; three sons William DeBerry (Melissa), Christopher DeBerry (Kristy), Steven Dunn (Justin); one daughter Brookann DeBerry (Zack); six grandchildren Nathan Wolfe, Nicholas Wolfe (Caitlin), Brandi Wilson, Robert Wilson, Lane DeBerry, Brook DeBerry; three great grandchildren Finley Beal, Ensley Wolfe, and Ivory Wolfe. He is also survived by three sisters Connie Coffman (Harvey), Phyllis Boone (James), Roxanne Tennant; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Mindy.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son Randall Keith 'J.R' DeBerry.
Pickle owned and operated Mike's Trucking for 25 years. He enjoyed working on his farm and listening to karaoke. He never passed up an opportunity for a good hot dog at a cookout. He was the absolute best, had the biggest heart, and will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 S. High St. Morgantown, WV 26501 on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 4pm - 8pm, and again on Thursday from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Following the funeral service, Pickle will be laid to rest at Summers Cemetery. A dinner will take place at Cheat Lake Volunteer Fire Department immediately following all of the services.
