Melvin E. Blosser

Melvin E. Scott' Blosser, 84 of Nicholson Loop, Morgantown, passed away Thursday September 27, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 17, 1927 in Morgantown son to the late Herbert and Mildred Knight Blosser. Melvin was a US Army Veteran. He retired from Sterling Faucet after nearly 40 years of service. Melvin is survived by his wife Phyllis Dalton Blosser; two daughters Mary Ann May and husband Jim and Lisa Dalton and husband Rick; one son Jim Blosser; three brothers, Denny, Buck and Dale; two sisters, Linda and Doris; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Melvin was preceded in death by one brother; four sisters and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Nicholson Chapel Church, Summer School Road on Sunday September 30, 2012 from 2pm until time of funeral services at 11am Monday October 1 with Rev. Francis Nicholson and Rev. Gary Blosser officiating. Burial will follow at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery. Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
