Melvin Ronald Baughman

Melvin Ronald Baughman, 79 of Morgantown passed away Monday September 20, 2010 at his home. He was born March 10, 1931 in Canton, Ohio son of the late Hilda and Melvin L. Baughman. Melvin retired from WVU Hospitals as a custodian with 21 years of service. He was Baptist by faith. Melvin is survived by his companion of 24 years Alice Mulroy of Morgantown; step children, Alice Sutherland and husband Scott of Morgantown, Marilyn Chan and husband William of Orangeburg, NY, Andrew Mulroy of Canton, OH, Rose Hart and husband Earnest of Morgantown and Patrick Mulroy of Queens, NY; sister Wanda Watson and husband Bill of Youngstown, OH; brother Frank Baughman and wife Rose of Morgantown; half brothers, Chuckie and Georgie and half sister Linda. Also surviving are grandchildren John, Lisa, Jimmy, Rose and Danny and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Baughman who raised him from the age of six years old and sister Delores Gravue. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday Sept. 22 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Thursday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Beverly Hills Garden of Tranquility Mausoleum.
