Matthew Robert Matt' Triplett, 23 of Greensboro, PA., passed away Friday July 16, 2010 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born July 10, 1987 in Morgantown son of Ricky L. Triplett and Donna Darlene Coger Triplett of Morgantown. Matthew was a very loving person his whole life. He was a graduate of Mapletown High School where he was in the marching band, played football and enjoyed playing the drums. He attended North Western University of Ohio where he met the love of his life and future wife Jessica Johnson. They were married on August 11, 2007. Matthew and Jessica had their daughter Jessilynn Reene Sweat Pea' and the apple of Matt's eye on October 21, 2008. He loved his brothers Nicholas and Jacob more than anyone knew. When able he attended services at Power in Praise church in Pursglove. He was a coal miner at the Dana Mining Company Four West Branch. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best friends, Shane Elli and David Black. He also loved spending time with his family and loved his wife and daughter beyond words. Matthew's last words to his cousins and friends were to get in church and keep smiling. Matthew will be thought of often and missed always. In addition to his wife Jessica Johnson Triplett; daughter Jessilynn Triplett; parents Rick and Darlene Triplett and brothers Nicholas and Jacob Triplett, Matt is survived by maternal grandparents Robert and JoAnn Coger; paternal grandmother Evelyn Triplett Lemasters and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Jarred Lee Triplett; grandparents Pappy Alva Triplett and Step-Pap Ed Lemasters. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Sunday July 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and again on Monday from 12noon until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Willard Rowan officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery. The family would like to say thank you to all of the BMT unit nursing staff of Nine West, Ruby Hospital and a special thank you to nurse Beth, Chaplin Dave, Dana Mining and the miners of Four West. Thanks for all the prayers and support from family, friends and churches.
