Mary Alice Cutright Taylor, 68 of Morgantown passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Ruby Memorial. She was born July 16, 1942 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Pearl and Mary Mick Cutright. She worked as a waitress, as well at the Eagle Convex Glass Factory. She retired from West Virginia University due to health reasons. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Larry D. Taylor, her beloved pet Mindy; two step sons Doug Taylor and Caroline Pysell, and Mark and Peggy Taylor all of Morgantown; five step grandchildren Rodney, Glenn Jay, Terry and Carrie all of Morgantown and Melinda Wolford and husband Jeremiah of Kansas; three step great granddaughters Kohlee Taylor of Morgantown, Chloe and Zoe Wolford of Kansas expecting step great grandson in December; a sister Wilma and Austin Richards of Ohio; sister in law Mary Lee Cutright of Clarksburg; sisters in law Sue Casseday, Janet and Don Shaffer of Newburg; brother in law Aurthur and Connie Taylor of Martinsburg and many nieces and nephews. In addition to Mary's family, she also is survived by special friends Linda Plum and Linda Reynolds of Preston County and Barbara Taylor of Martinsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Petey Cutright; sisters Ida Marie Boals and Janie Miles; a special nephew Sammy Allman; brother in law Darold Casseday; and sister in law Betty Taylor and her beloved pets Wendy and Tiny. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9pm, and at Shay's Chapel Church on Thursday from 12noon until the time of services at 1pm with Rev. Robert Uphold officiating. Burial will follow in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
