Mary Virginia Smyth

Mary Virginia Smyth, 94, of Morgantown, WV, went to join her late husband, Raymond J. Smyth, January 30, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 21, 1923 to the late Odell and Ruth (Dulgar) Henry.

Mary retired from Davis Lynch Glass. She spent every evening reading her Bible. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. You could find Mary working on her word search puzzles at any time of the day which she loved doing.

She is survived by her three daughters; Mary and spouse Fred Zybell of Pt. Marion, PA; Pearl Denis of Morgantown, WV; and Ramona and spouse Gary Maxwell of Kingwood, WV; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her close friend, Michelle Snyder.

Mary was the last remaining sibling of the Henry family; in addition to her late husband and parents, she is preceded by death by four sisters, Lillian Hunt, Arlie Moats, Betty Barrow, and Madonna Uphold; one infant granddaughter; son-in-law, George Denis.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Thursday, February 1st, from 2pm until 4pm and again from 6pm until 8pm. Visitation will follow Friday, February 2nd from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
