Mary M. Matthews

Mary Marie Matthews, passed away just two days shy of her 53rd birthday on, Wednesday, August 19, 2015. She was born in Morgantown, daughter of Willard Zeke' Mayhew of Morgantown and the late Janet Gibson Mayhew. Mary, most recently, worked for WVU as an inventory auditor. She is survived by her husband, Gary Matthews, her son Travis Matthews and Megan Mahoney of Sandusky, OH and her brothers, Jim, Randy and Frank and sister, Becky. If Mary could speak to us today, she would want you to know that she did as well as she could for as long as she could. She would also like to thank her amazing friend Dixie. Honoring her wishes, cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home and no services will be scheduled. When you think of Mary, don't think of her as gone, but think of her as just Waiting on a Ride.'
