Mary Ruth Brozik

Mary Ruth Brozik, 86, of Fairfield Manor, Morgantown, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2018. She was born October 2, 1931 to the late Jessie E. and Elsie (Donley) Jones.

She was an LPN at Mon General Hospital for nearly 27 years. Mary was a member of the Senior Monongalians and greatly enjoyed the bus tours with her friends. Her passion was to spend time at her place at Big Bear where she would drive herself until recently. Spending time setting up yard sales and attending flea-markets was Mary’s idea of spending a good afternoon, while listening to Conway Twitty, her favorite country artist. When the Pirates would be playing on TV, Mary would be close watching; she also was a golf channel fan.

Mary is survived by three sons; Frank and spouse Charlene Brozik Jr of Morgantown, WV , David and spouse Linda McIntire-Brozik of Greensboro, PA, Dennis and spouse Karen Brozik of Virginia; six grandchildren, Neil and spouse Lori Brozik, Corey Brozik, both of Morgantown, Tracey and spouse Doug Pincavitch of Dilliner, PA, Kristin and spouse David Gyorko of Greensboro, PA , Josh Brozik, and Jessie and spouse Jeff Davis, both of Morgantown; 9 great-grandchildren; three great-great children and one on the way; one sister, Edna Nicholson; one brother Jessie and spouse Brenda Jones both of Kirkland, OH; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Grover (Deeboy) Jones of Idaho; one sister, Dorothy Payton of North Carolina; and one grandson Douglas Tyler Pincavitch.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Senior Monongalians, 5000 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26501.

Family and friends will be received at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, February 16th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 17th from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Rev. Jenny Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
