Mary Margaret Barill

Mary Margaret Barill, 81, of Morgantown, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown. Mary was born on August 22, 1941, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Lucas.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ron Barill; daughters Kim (Charles) Miller, Melissa Barill, & Brandy Reseter; brothers Joseph Lucas, John Lucas, & Richard (Diane) Lucas; grandchildren Kayla & Josh Bena, Dustin (Michele) Henderson, & Lucas Coombs; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.

Mary enjoyed going out and about, usually taking shopping trips or getting her hair done. While at home, however, she took pleasure in putting together puzzles and spending quality time talking with family. It was evident to all who knew her that Mary loved her family more than anything in the world, even though she was known to give them a hard time every now and again. Mary’s caring nature and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by those she knew, but her loving presence lives on through the lives she has touched.
