Marshall Leonard Stutler, 86, passed away April 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 7, 1931 to the late Franklin Lee and Leta (Starcher) Stutler.
He retired from Bell Atlantic after 34 years of service. Marshall was best known for his famous fried fish. He had a passion for hunting and trout fishing with his sons at their camp in Elk River and his daughter at Blackwater. You could find him watching his Steelers enjoying an Iron City Beer or playing cards. He traveled the west for four months with buddies Roger and Pat Mockrof enjoying nature.
He is survived by two sons, Dwayne and spouse Rene Stutler, Darrell and spouse Tammy Stutler; one daughter, Terri Lynn Lemley; grandchildren, Adrienne and Tiffany Stutler, Denise Bohn; one great-grandchild Quentin Stutler; and one sister June Pierce.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Peg” of 52 years; two brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Thursday, May 3rd, from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue Friday, May 4th from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Father Gary Naegele officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
