Marshal Wayne Huffman, aged 62, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024. He was born on October 19, 1961 a son of Mae Ketterman Huffman and the late John Huffman
He was a treasured husband to his wife, Cynthia Huffman, a beloved father to his daughter Meloney Nicklow, and a doting grandfather to Adam Pruitt, as well as great-grandfather to Christopher, Alex, and Raven; brother, David Huffman; sister, Kathy Kurtz, and he leaves behind his faithful canine companion, Sugar, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who adored him deeply.
Marshal embraced the open road as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession that spanned over three decades. His work fueled his love for travel, taking him to 48 of the 50 United States, where he experienced the vast diversity and beauty of the country.
He was an avid hunter, an enthusiastic football spectator, and a keen basketball player. Marshal had the hands of a craftsman, often found in his workshop whittling away at wood to create birdhouses that were as much works of art as they were homes for his feathered friends.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Huffman; sister, Carla Major; granddaughter Dakota Pritt; and nephew, Devon Major.
Honoring Marshal’s wishes, cremation is being provided by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home
