Marisa Lynn Magda

Marisa Mommone Magda, 63, of Rockledge, FL passed away July 28, 2021 at Windy Hill Village in Kingwood, WV. She was born in Morgantown, WV on April 2, 1958; the daughter of the late Joe A. Mommone and Ruth Mommone. Marisa was a graduate of MHS class of 1976 and graduated from WVU School of Pharmacy in 1981. She was a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service and was proud to have served on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. She retired as the Pharmacy Director at the Veterans Administration Clinic in Viera, FL. Marisa loved to travel often, visiting Europe, and enjoyed walking tours of exotic places. She also loved to bake, with no recipe too challenging. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Magda in 1997. She is survived by her partner Steve Ryemon, MD of Rockledge, FL and her sister Marsha Mommone Kelly. A special thank you is extended to the staff at Windy Hill Village for their three years of loving care and to WV Caring for her final care. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Fred Jenkins Funeral Home with private interment to take place at a later date.
