Margaret Grace Obuch

Margaret Grace Obuch, 65, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on July 28, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1960, to James and Frankie Obuch, who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her aunt, Susan Earnest.

She had a lifelong love of music, even performing in a band that was signed with Sun Records. Margaret was an avid fan of R.E.M., and enjoyed playing guitar and singing along to their tunes and songs of her own.

She worked as an events coordinator at the WVU College of Law, where she was known for being friendly and dependable. Her work meant a lot to the students and staff she supported.

Margaret is survived by her best friend, Roberta Ann Manley, who remained a constant in her life for many years.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. Arrangements are being handled by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
