Margaret J. King

Margaret J. King, 87, of Cheat Lake, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 with her loving family by her side at Mon Health Medical Center.

The daughter of the late Calvin and Sarah Cole Myers she was born May 13, 1931 in Cheat Lake. She was the last remaining member of her family.

Margaret is survived by her eight children: Bill and Joyce King, Sharen England, Roxann Hare, Janice Ross and her fiancé, Ray, Twila and Danny Baber, Brent and Brenda King, Shawn and Teresa King, Sonya and Bob Piper; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William King; a son, Robert King; a son-in-law, Gary England; four grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 1687 Fairchance Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508

Family and Friends are invited to Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, Monday from 4 to 8pm and again on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 10am until the 11am funeral service with Rev. Stanley Merrifield and Pastor Kevin Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery.
