Lyman W. Cress, Jr.

Lyman W. Cress, Jr. 71, of Morgantown passed away Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 17, 1940 in Morgantown a son to the late Lyman and Bessie Lewis Cress. He was a park ranger for many years at Chestnut Ridge Park. Lyman enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by a brother Earl Cress of Grantsville, WV; and three sisters Grace Sanders of Bobtown, PA, Hazel Jacobs of Carmichaels, PA, and Lydia Carey of Bobtown, PA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas Cress and Roy Cress. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday April 2, 2011 from 11am-1pm and 7-9pm. To honor Lyman's wishes cremation will follow.
