Louis Thomas Jefferson Jr

Louis Jefferson Jr.,(Butch) 64 of Fairmont, formerly of Osage passed away September 16, 2013 at the Louis A. Johnson VMC. He was born February 10, 1949 in Morgantown, the son of the late Louis T. Jefferson Sr and Evelyn Seals Jefferson of Osage. Butch attended the Fairmont Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He also served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era with the 101st Airborne Division. He is survived by Two sons and daughter in law, Keith Jefferson of Granville, Regan Jefferson(Nicole) of Lansing NY; Two Step sons and one step daughter; Michael, Jason and Andrea McDonald all of Morgantown; one brother and four sisters G. Randy (Cathy) Jefferson of Pursglove, Margaret Jefferson of Morgantown, Jacqueline McElroy (George) of Fairmont, Valarie Harris (Mitch) of Morgantown, Janet Bradley (Benjamin) of Westover; Two aunts maternal aunt Eunice Mollard of Osage, Paternal aunt Fannie Malone of Morgantown; Eight grandchildren Amanda Faulknier, LaVaughn and Traivion Jefferson, Cymbri and Harlen Jefferson, Kyliyah, Dymond, Brianna and Shamar McDonald. A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and many friends. In honoring Butch's wishes, cremation was conducted by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11am at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home with Elder George McElroy officiating. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV at a later date.
