Loretta F. Schartiger, 66, of Dilliner, passed away Tuesday January 28, 2014 at her home after a short illness. She was born September 16, 1947 in Bobtown, daughter to the late James and Lucille Allum. She was most recently employed at the Wishing Well Nursing Home, in Fairmont, where she worked as an LPN with nearly 30 years of service. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Schartiger and Jessica Hanlan, her sons, Michael Yanak and wife Lynn and Scott Yanak; grandchildren David and Cori, Kayla and Brandon, Courtney and Chad and Ashlee and Cody and Nathan; four great grandchildren, Cayden, Collin, Olivia and Avery. Also surviving is one brother, David Allum and wife Thelma of Morgantown and sisters, Ellen Lentz of TX, Susie Franks and husband Albert of Bobtown, Betty Jean King and Pam DeCarlo both of Morgantown and her extended family, Tina and Keith, Heidi and Patrick, Tracy, Eric, Dana, Danielle, Matt and Jessica. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, James Jimmy' Yanak and two brothers Mark and Butch Allum. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday January 29, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm at the Fred Jenkins Chapel of Prayer with Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
