Lisa Ann (Hunt) Boord, 55, of Morgantown, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, after a year-long battle with a chronic illness.

Lisa was born on May 7, 1971, in Heidelberg, Germany, to Junie Aldridge and Eugene "Allen" Hunt, while her father served in the United States Army.

Lisa graduated from North Marion High School and Ross College and spent many years working as a Pharmacy Technician. Until she left for a more important & rewarding job, being a stay-at-home mom for her two sons. She was a devoted mother who poured her entire soul into raising her boys. Her legacy of pure kindness, patience, and love will live on in them forever.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Hunt of Morgantown, baby nephew James Hunt-Whitener, and her sweet baby girl, Tessa.

She is survived by her parents, Junie and Greg Aldridge, sons Thomas Boord and Ian Boord, all of Morgantown, brothers Roger (Michelle) Hayhurst of Colorado and Eric "Bo" Hunt of Newburg, sister Aimie (Chris) Hunt of Morgantown and 6 nephews whom she adored, Maxwell, Jack, Oliver, and Sammy Hayhurst of Colorado, Bentley Hunt of Newburg and Mason McDonald of Morgantown. In addition to many extended family & friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Anita Brock Jones & Aimie Hunt for all their help & support these past few weeks.

Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 S. High St. Morgantown, WV 26501 is handling cremation services, there will not be a public service at this time.

As Lisa leaves behind her two boys, Ian, 25, who has special needs and Thomas, 17, who also lost their father at a young age, we are accepting donations on their behalf to help with cremation services and other expenses.
