Linda Lee Nicholson Brown

Linda Lee Nicholson Brown of Pursglove passed away at her home on Friday, April 10, 2020. She was born in McKeesport, PA, on May 27, 1955, the daughter of the late Clarence E. Nicholson and Eva Tennant Nicholson.
Linda retired from Cintas after more than 14 years of service. Linda was a loving, outgoing, and caring person. She was loved by many and will be missed.
Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edgar ‘Butch’ Brown; children Kathy (Ken) McCormick, Judy McGilton and fiancé Dean Cale, Butch (Sandi) Brown all of Morgantown; grandchildren, James McGilton, Genni McGilton, Nathan McCormick, Matthew Christiansen, Hannah Brown, Patience Miller, Austin Miller, James Brown and one great-grandson, JP McGilton. Also, surviving are her siblings, Marie Simpson, Joe Nicholson, Diana Walsh, Deborah Haught, Jeffrey Nicholson, David Nicholson, and Conrad Tennant, Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Nicholson.
Linda’s family wishes to thank nurse Melissa and Dr. Shrader of Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. A very special thank you to Elizabeth Brown, Linda’s friend, sister-in-law and caregiver throughout her illness.
Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home will provide the family with a private service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
