Lillie Mae Hiner

Lillie Mae Hiner, 71 of Kingwood passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family after losing her battle to cancer. She was born in Morgantown on December 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Russell H. and Susie M. Huffmann Hiner. She was a 1957 graduate of Morgantown High School and was employed by and managed various convenient stores throughout her career. She later retired from the WVU Housing Department in 2004. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone. She is survived by one son, Charles R. Ronnie' Bailey and wife Becky, of Morgantown, four daughters, Pamela S. Burgess and husband Mark, of the Grafton Road, Sandra K. Wyatt and husband Ron of Morgantown, Kathy L. Bailey (Creed) of Morgantown, Susie R. McDonald of Kingwood and Bonnie A. White and husband Robert of Masontown (a niece who was like a daughter to her); 10 grandchildren, Chad Summers, Kristin and Kenny Lipscomb, Stephanie Sayre, Landon Burgess, Megan Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Alexis Wyatt, Corey McDonald, Tiffany Bailey, Courtney DeWitt and Alexa Frum; five great grandchildren, Taylor and Brady Summers, Ethan and Issac Lipscomb and Parker Hartley. She is also survived by one very special brother, Robert Hiner of Amherst, OH; one sister Virginia Fisher of Pennsylvania and Carolyn Dalton (who she thought of as a sister); two nieces; one nephew; three great nephews and one great niece; many friends and her previous husband Lester McDonald. In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her first husband Charles M. Bailey in 1965. Friends may call at the Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Rd. on Monday December 20, 2010 from 3pm until time of services at 1pm on Wednesday December 22, 2010 with Rev. Mike Delligatti officiating. Burial will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
