Leroy E. Hunter Leroy E. Hunter, 73 of Pt. Marion Rd., Morgantown passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born September 18, 1939 , the son of the late Edgar M. and Ethel S. Hunter. Leroy led a full and active life. Of the many activities he enjoyed, he was especially passionate about golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Leroy retired after 52 years of service in the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union. During this time , he held the following positions: Bricklayer, Business Agent, Director of Bricklayers District Council. He passionately served the union and promoted union labor. He is survived by his wife Betty L. Provance Hunter, 2 sons and their wives Leroy E. Hunter Jr., and his wife Debbie, and Scott D. Hunter and his wife Radomira all of Morgantown. Also his grandchildren Heather L. Hunter, Brittany N. Hunter, Alexandra R. Hunter and Patrick S. Hunter . A sister and her family, Shirley Watson of Pensacola, Fl. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 4 until 8pm. In honoring Leroy's wishes, cremation will follow.
