Leoma Beatrice “Bea” Rodeheaver,

88, of Morgantown, WV, went home to be with the Lord on, Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1927 in Browns Chapel, WV, the daughter of the late Ora D. Smith and Elza R. Smith.

Bea was a Christian by faith. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family and always had a gentle smile, kind heart, and a sweet spirit. She enjoyed watching old T.V. shows such as, The Andy Griffith Show, The Golden Girls, I Love Lucy Show and Ma and Pa Kettle movies. Bea loved watching her favorite movie, Walk the Line and loved watching western movies as well. Bea enjoyed singing songs. She was always there when you needed her the most to talk to. You could talk to her about anything and if you were mad or sad she knew just what to say to make you feel better. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will never be forgotten and will always be missed.

Bea is survived by two daughters, Leora Gae Chambers of Morgantown and Mary Jayne Strakal and her husband, Jay, of Nokesville, VA, and; a son Charles Ray Rodeheaver of Morgantown; six grandchildren: Stevie Chambers, Jason and wife, Kelly Chambers, Dawn and husband, Ryan Cain, Jeremy and wife, Megan Strakal, Joshua and wife, Nora Strakal, and Maranda Strakal; four great grandchildren: Megan, Madeline, Hannah, and Ethan Chambers; a sister, Emmadee Shreve; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hagan T. Rodeheaver; a great granddaughter, Emily Dawn Ortez; and five brothers and three sisters.

Family and friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Thursday, from 4-8 p.m.. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 4 p.m.. Burial will take place at a later date.
