Leo Wilber McMillen

Leo W. McMillen, 96, of Morgantown, WV passed away April 20, 2026. He was born in Morgantown, WV June 27,1929, the son of the late Charles R. McMillen and May E. Martin McMillen. He was a retired member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 152. He is survived by his son, W. Leo McMillen (Betsy), two grandsons, Scott and Aaron, and five great-grandchildren.

Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Illenecke McMillen, who passed in 2001, and his daughter, Mary Francis McMillen, in 1966. Also preceding Leo in death were a brother, Charles F. McMillen, and two sisters, Virginia Maloney and Dortha McMillen.

Leo's favorite pastime was playing his 1941 Archtop Kay guitar and singing. He believed in working hard, providing for his family, and helping his friends and relatives.

In accordance with Leo's wishes, the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501,  is providing a private graveside ceremony.
