Lawrence Fredrick Radcliff

Lawrence Fredrick Ted Radcliff, 82, of Bobtown, PA, passed away unexpectedly in Masontown, WV, at the home of his granddaughter, which he affectionately referred to as the “Ponderosa.” Ted was born in Morgantown, on May 30, 1934, son to the late William and Vinnie Ott Radcliff.

Ted enlisted into the Air Force after leaving high school. He returned home and worked for the Rosedale Coal Company and then moved to Florida to work alongside his brother. Upon his return from FL, he drove truck for L & J Equipment of Uniontown. Ted then attended classes to obtain certification as a nurse’s aide and worked at the Morgan Manor nursing home and retired from in home private duty for several families in the Morgantown and surrounding areas.

Ted is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Mrs. Oneida ‘Dee’ Cralton Radcliff of Bobtown, PA; two daughters, Kimberly Jean Nuce and husband Randy of Morgantown, Kelly Kirkendall of Mt. Morris, PA; one son, Roy Wayne Radcliff and wife Mary Jo of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; eight grandchildren, Kimmy, Michelle, Randy, Steven, Jess, Adam, Jonathan and Riley; five great-grandchildren, Destiney, Lexi, Aaron, Jessie and Ryder.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his nine siblings. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Also, preceding him was one son Floyd Lawrence ‘Lonnie’ Radcliff.

Cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.

Respecting the privacy of the family, no public services will be conducted. All expressions of sympathy can be directed to Mrs. Radcliff at P.O Box 466 Bobtown, PA 15315.
