Laura Jean Wilson

Laura Jean Wilson, 81, of Baker’s Ridge Road, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Monongalia General Hospital, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late George and Julia Wise, born July 15, 1935 in Morgantown.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband John in 2007 and two brothers.

She is survived by her two sons, Allen Wilson and wife Peggy and Henry Wilson and wife Diane with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, Chris and wife Tonya, Katrina and John; two great grandchildren, Cody and Shelby; one brother, Emmit Wise of MA and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm and again on Saturday from 1pm until time of services at 2pm with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Laura will be laid to rest beside of her husband in the Mt. Union Cemetery, Pt. Marion Road, Morgantown.
