Larry Ray Daugherty

Larry Ray Daugherty, 80, passed away at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. He was born July 27, 1937 to Arthur and Naomi (Fields) Daugherty in Norton, VA. Larry enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and playing pool with his closest buddies. Larry is survived by his wife, Glenna; two daughters, Dannette Shomper of Tipp City, OH and Tanya Roberts of St. Petersburg, FL; son, Duke Daugherty of Frisco, TX; step-son Jeffery Kramer of Morgantown, WV; step-daughter, Brenda Stamper of Wilmington, NC; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents. Donations in Larry's memory may be made to the American Legion, 3470 Earl Core Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508. Honoring Larry's wishes, cremation services were provided by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Cremation 11/24/2017
