Larry W. Compton

Larry W. Compton,78, of Morgantown, WV, passed away June 24, 2017 in Ravenna, OH while visiting his great grandchildren. The son of the late Roy and Tippie Corley Compton, he was born May 26, 1939 in Morgantown. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved traveling to see his family. Larry is survived by his daughter, Pamela S. Compton; two sisters, Evelyn Sweetnich and Betty Mulic; a brother, Paul Compton; two grandsons, Keith C. Blankenship and Robert W. (Boo) Compton, Jr.; and three great grandchildren: Kraig Blankenship, Kristen Blankenship, and Ava Blankenship; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Robert W. (Yogi) Compton, Sr. and Mark A. Compton. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 3pm to 7pm. Cremation services will follow the visitation. Visitation 06/29/2017 3:00 PM 7:00 PM
