Larry Gay Blosser

June 13, 1952 — March 2, 2015

Larry Gay Punkin' Blosser, 62, of Reedsville, passed away March 2, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He is the son of the late Lonnie June' Blosser and Gladys Dalton Blosser. He drove truck for several trucking companies for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed Sunday dinners with family and frequent visits from Pastor Ray Frankhouser. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joanne, who was always by his side; one son Jeremy Blosser and wife Valerie; one daughter Amy Thomas and spouse Duane; three grandsons, Brandon, Isaiah and Jacob Blosser; one granddaughter, Kristen Blosser and companion Anthony Rupprecht; three step-granddaughters, Brittany Thomas, Keisha Thomas, Sabrina Thomas and fiancé Sam Riley; one great grandson, Nolan Liam Rupprecht, which was born four hours after his pappy' passed away; two step-great granddaughters, Destiny Riggleman and Kaitlyn Cale. He is also survived by one brother Lester Bubba' Blosser and wife Christy and one sister Bessie Murray and husband Scott. He was preceded in death by one son Billy Jo. Special thank you to nurses from Amedysis Hospice, Roger Hess Nurse Roger' for all your great care given to Punkin and Heather Monkey Chips' Johnson who he considered a daughter and was always able to make Punkin smile. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5pm until 9pm and again on Friday March 6, 2015 at the Nicholson Chapel Church from 10am until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating. Burial will follow at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home to help with expenses.
