Larry Dale Austin, 68, of Arbogast Road, Morgantown, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at his home following a long illness. Larry was born in Morgantown on March 02, 1949, son to the late Ralph and Belle Moore Austin.
Larry was a Vietnam combat veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Larry retired from Sterling Faucet Co. with 21 years of service.
Larry is survived by his two sons, Marvin Austin of Morgantown and Marty Roberts of Savannah, GA; six grandchildren; one sister, Betty Dunn and adopted daughter, Amy Morgan.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Austin, just 67 days ago on October 24.
The family would like to give special thanks to his amazing caregiver JoJo Thomas.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the WVANG, Camp Dawson. Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
