Kristina Bea Cantis

Kristina “Bea” Cantis (formerly Brenda Chipps) 65 of Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday August 26, 2018, surrounded by family.

She was born in Morgantown, July 16, 1953, a daughter of the late James C. Chipps and the late Joan (Sapp) Chipps.

Bea was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and faithful friend to many.

Her giving and caring nature, as well as her witty humor, and carefree spirit will be sadly missed by her family, her friends and all who knew her.

Bea especially loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews throughout their lives, instilling in them her own zest for life, laughter and adventure.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Douglas M. Cantis, her brother Jeff Chipps and wife Lisa, her sister Judy Hazimihalis and husband Kiriakos, her brother James E. Chipps and wife Charlotte, and her sister MaryAnn Moskaluk and husband Peter.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 South High Street, Morgantown, on Wednesday Aug. 29th from 11:00am until time of the funeral service at 1:00pm, officiated by her cousin Kathy Dalton. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
