Kenneth Leslie Mcclurg

Kenneth Leslie McClurg, 85, of Morgantown entered into his eternal home on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown after a brief illness. Kenneth's faith has now become sight, as he looks upon his Lord and Savior face to face. Born December 23, 1927 and raised in Greer the son of the late Ora Jay and Letha Louise McClurg. He has lived most of his life as resident in Morgantown where he was respected and loved by all who met him. In his early years, Mr. McClurg joined the armed forces. After returning he met his lovely wife, Thelma Lee Leach and they were married September 27, 1948. They enjoyed 65 golden years together. He leaves his children; Kenneth Edward and wife Penny, Ora George and wife Pam, Joyce Ann and husband Dan, John Patrick, Susan Maxine, Linda Kay, Donna Lynn and husband Joe, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two surviving brothers Wendell and Richard McClurg as well as many friends. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 6 until 8pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Rusty McClurg officiating. Burial will follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Fairmont, WV with military rites conducted by the Westover VFW Post 9916 and WVANG, Camp Dawson.
