Keith ‘Butch’ Pyles, 68, of Granville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at his home.
The son of the late, Harold and Violet Pyles, he was born October 17, 1950, in Morgantown.
Butch retired from West Virginia University as a parking supervisor with 41 years of service. He and his son, Keith, Jr., owned and operated Martin Hill Auto Sales. Butch loved antique cars and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Butch is survived by his loving wife, of 48 years, Carolyn Lewis Pyles; a son, Keith Pyles, Jr. and his fiancé, Andrea Clemmer; a daughter, Theresa Moore and her husband, Wesley; a grandson, Benjamin Moore; three sisters, Rose Stone and her husband, Ronnie, Delores Matheny, and Michele Pyles; a brother, Randy Pyles; two nieces and two nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Roscoe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, a brother, David Pyles; and a sister, Susanna Stenger.
Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 4 to 8pm and again on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, from 10am until the 11am funeral service. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
