Kathy Lee Lipscomb

Kathy Lee Lipscomb, age 65, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 24, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Bruce Lipscomb and Rose Dalton Lipscomb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tim Jenkins.

She is survived by her four daughters, Theresa (Stanley, Jr.) Lake; Tracy (Albert) McGinness; and Tabitha & Samantha Taylor; her two sisters, Delores (Larry) and Janet Jenkins; her eight grandchildren, Shannon, Zepplin, Shyann, Daniel, Samauel, Camron, Haley, and Joseph; as well as her two great-grandchildren.

Kathy worked as a seamstress for most of her life and thoroughly enjoyed the craft. So much so that she frequently spent her free time sewing and making things for her family. She also had a passion for tending to her vegetable and flower gardens and cooking delicious meals to share with her loved ones. Though she didn’t get the opportunity to make the trip, she always wanted to travel to Alaska and could oftentimes be found watching YouTube videos or shows about the beautiful state.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A gathering to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
