Kathryn Lynn 'Kathy' Thompson

Kathryn Lynn "Kathy" Thompson, 68, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, at WVU Hospitals. The daughter of the late Mary Kathryn (Rosier) Keller and Clyde Francis Keller, she was born October 4, 1951, in Morgantown. Kathy enjoyed playing BINGO and crocheting. She was employed by JC Penny's and formerly worked at Eat N Park. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her husband, of 46 years, Ernest "Bill" Thompson; a daughter, Rebecca Thompson; a son, William "Billy" Thompson; six grandchildren: Ronnie, Chris, Sydni, Katie, Mackenzie, and Abby; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Johnson, Betsy Hardman, and Constance Cost; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Hurley; a son, Ernest Thompson, III; two sisters, Rebecca Friend and Nancy Rhodes; and two brothers, Daniel Keller and Larry Keller. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm and again on Thursday, from 10am until the 11am funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
