Karl Allen Kyle

Karl Allen Kyle, 44, of Morgantown, died on Thursday, March 04, 2021, at the JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. He passed peacefully with family at his side. Karl was born December 17, 1976, one of three children to Wayne Allen and Pauline Ann Murray Kyle. Karl, or "Kyle" as he was best known, was a graduate of Morgantown High School and was employed as an Identification Records Supervisor at the FBI Center in Clarksburg. He was working on his 25th year of service. Kyle graciously volunteered his time to assist with the Community Outreach Program during his tenure at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He had great satisfaction in knowing the fingerprinting services he provided helped keep the children of West Virginia safe. He will be known to many people as many different things. Kyle had the incredible ability to blend in or stand out. Whatever the situation called for, he was able to provide just the right persona. To some, he was quiet and reserved; to others, he was outgoing and passionate. But to everyone, he was a friend. He had an exceptional discernment of character; he saw the glass half full and was humorous and sarcastic when we needed it most. All of his attributes will be missed by so many. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his life-partner Jason Bennett; sister, Kelly Shellogg and husband Bryan of St. Louis, MO; brother Kevin Kyle of Morgantown; his work wife, Nikki Dolan and her son, Kyle's Godson, Caleb Dolan both of Clarksburg and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Pauline, as well as several of his furry friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 3 PM until 6 PM and again on Monday from 11 AM until the time of service at noon with Pastor Austin Lynch officiating. Kyle will be laid to rest beside his parents at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
