Karin Diane Rife

Karin Diane Savage Rife, 73 of Morgantown passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, surrounded by her family at Mapleshire in Morgantown. Karin was born September 4, 1946, daughter to Mary Ellen and Bruce E. Savage, Jr.

Karin had a tender heart and a generous spirit. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by so many. She also had a great sense of humor and quick wit. In her younger days, Karin was a member of a bowling league at Suburban Lanes and enjoyed playing the slot machines.

Surviving are her daughters Diana Lipscomb & husband Mark, Tamara Carrico & husband Hugo, & one son Ted Rife; grandchildren Stacy & Travis, Ethan & Levi, Darriann, Chayce, & Landon; great-grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Wyatt, Aubree, & Jaxson.

Also surviving are her siblings, Bruce Edward Savage, III, LouAnn Cooley & husband Chuck, Mark Savage & wife Peggy & Monty Savage & wife Lisa; her sister-in-law, Becky Savage and her special canine companion Tyson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Mary Ellen & brother Joseph ‘Joe’ Savage.

The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM with Pastor Rob Bennett officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
