Karen 'Sue" Leighty

Karen 'sue" Leighty 70 of Queen Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family November 1, 2016, Sue was bornSeptember 14. 1946 in Morgantown, WV. She married the love of her life Richard E. Leighty and together the had five children. "Dick and Sue" shared 55 years of marriage, two people specifically created for each other, their bond is unique and unbreakable and isan inspiration to all who that knew them. Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Delphia Smith-Mollard and her father, Robert Bruce Mollard, brothers Francis Mollard, Robert Mollard, John H. Mollard and sister Ruthann. Sue is survived by her beloved husband Richard E. Leighty and their children, Richard E. Leighty Jr and Suzanne Leighty, Dana S. Leighty-Vargas, Bruce A. Leighty and Terri Leighty, DeeAnne Leighty and Brian L. Leighty; grandchildren, Bethany Leighty, Brandon Leighty, Bobby Vargas, Rebecca Vargas, Patricia Vargas, Brittany Thayer, Bryce Thayer, John David Carr and Marissa Leighty; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Yerkovich, Haidyn Yerkovich, Luke Gibson, Alexis Thayer and Layla West. Sue is also survived by siblings, Erma Mollard, Betty Mollard-Casino and Jim Casino, Judy Mollard Ingersol, Sharon Mollard-Lynch and Robert Lynch, Richard Mollard and Ruthann Mollard. Friends and Family will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Monday, November 7th from 11am until the time of service at 1pm with Gary Kasekamp officiating.
